Commonly used command sign language in rescue operations

1. Turning: Extend both arms, straighten them forward, with thumbs up, and point both thumbs in the direction you suggest.
2. Retract the winch: Extend your index finger and draw a small circle in the air above your shoulder to indicate tightening the winch.
3. Release the winch: With the index finger down, draw a small circle at waist height to indicate that the wire is being released from the winch.
4. Slow winding winch: Extend the index finger and thumb of one hand, continuously open and close the index finger and thumb, indicating that the cable is approaching its end, and slow down the speed of winding the cable. 5. Stop: Make fists with both hands to indicate a stop.
